66 Bovet, San Mateo: A 1960s office building gets a makeover-and increases tenants

When the owners of a 1960s-era office building in Silicon Valley saw potential tenants passing over their building in favor of newer ones, they contacted their realtor–who contacted KRJ Design Group.

We updated the exterior with stone inset accents, new paint, and a new modern awning and sign. Inside, we transformed a typical utilitarian dim lobby into a light-filled space with a central water-sculpture feature, new flooring, and inviting seating and
wall art. 
 

The result: The building filled within two months—earning higher rents.
